Accessibility statement

Compliance status

This site is currently not compliant with the General Accessibility Improvement Framework for Administrations, RGAA version 4.1, as no audit results are available at this time.

The University of Lille attaches great importance to making its websites as accessible as possible.

We have implemented navigation and reading aids on our site (contrasted version, keyboard accessibility of menus, alternative font for people with dyslexia, etc.).

See the multi-year digital accessibility plan (schéma pluriannuel de l'accessibilité numérique; SPAN)

Feedback and contact

If you are unable to access any content or services, please contact: accessibiliteuniv-lillefr.

Remedies

If you encounter an accessibility issue that prevents you from accessing content or functionality on the site, and you report it to us but do not receive a response, you are entitled to submit your complaint or request to the Defender of Rights. There are several ways to do this:

Style sheets for separating content and form

The use of style sheets ensures that the site's formatting is separated from its content. This maintains a consistent reading order in the structure of each page, enabling effective navigation if CSS is disabled.

Navigation

  • The tab key allows you to access each link on the site in succession.
  • If, despite our efforts, you encounter difficulties navigating our site, please do not hesitate to let us know by email at the following address: accessibilite@univ-lille.fr

Taille des textes

The size of all text is based on the use of relative units, which allows it to be modified in most browsers. This can be done using the following commands:

“CTRL” key and “mouse wheel”
Or
“CTRL” and “+” keys (increase text size) or “-” (decrease text size)
Or
Browser menus: View > Text size

Menus

  • The main menu, located at the top of the page (MENU button), is permanently displayed on all pages of the site and allows you to access all sections.
This site navigation menu is accessible via the keyboard.
  • The logo on the left takes you back to the home page of the University of Lille website.
  • The site map is at the top of each page and allows you to access all sections and subsections of the site.

Colors

A high-contrast version of the website that complies with RGAA color criteria is available.

Dyslexia

For people with dyslexia, we offer an alternative font that makes the website easier to read.
A “Dyslexia” link is permanently available at the top of each page.

Images and links

Images containing information, graphics, and links are explicitly named to provide a clear description of their content.

The University of Lille is a member of the University-Business Disability Agreement (Convention Handicap Université Entreprise; CHUE), which brings together nine partner companies*.

This multi-partner agreement enables our university to:

  • mobilize the necessary resources to ensure that these training courses take place in a normal environment,
  • offer students with disabilities the material and human support they need to pursue and complete higher education courses,
  • ensure close collaboration between secondary education, higher education, and companies in order to offer training courses that promote their social and professional integration.

To this end, the university has embarked on a process of making many of the services it offers to its students and prospective students accessible, both in the digital domain and in terms of the accessibility of its premises, etc.

Digital services currently being brought into compliance:

  • University website (RGAA 3.0 AA+)
  • Transcripts of institutional, scientific, and educational videos
  • Websites of educational departments and faculties (RGAA 3.0 AA+)
